In short AVCO’s main task is to promote the understanding and awareness for Private Equity und Venture Capital as a means to cover financial needs of unlisted small und medium sized enterprises. It functions as the official representative of the industry engaged to promote the further development of risk capital financing in Austria.

AVCO is organised as an association with a general assembly, a board of directors and a secretary as its official bodies.
